Transnational Women Say NO to U.S. Intervention in Venezuela
AF³IRM strongly condemns the U.S. attacks on and invasion of Venezuela and reasserts its support of the Venezuelan people’s resistance to U.S. intervention.
In the early morning hours of January 3, 2026, Donald Trump authorized a “large-scale strike” in Caracas, Venezuela and the abduction of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.
Overnight, explosions were heard across Caracas while Maduro and Flores were kidnapped from their bed and forced into a U.S. military aircraft en route to New York City. Maduro and Flores are to face charges related to “narcoterrorism” in New York.
Cutting SNAP Means Cutting Lifelines: The Trump Administration’s Deliberate Attack on Women and Children
The government-backed decision to cut Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the latest gender-based attack in policy form. Across the so-called United States, women, especially single mothers, disproportionately rely on SNAP to feed their families. Nearly two-thirds of adult SNAP recipients are women, many of whom are holding families together through low-wage work and unpaid labor of caregiving.
#FeministsFightFascism: Statement on Rising Militarism and State Violence by AF³IRM Los Angeles
Since June 6th, ICE, the DEA and the FBI have escalated the violence in our communities at the behest of the fascist U.S. regime. They have seized our people from sidewalks and strawberry fields. They have taken mothers and children attending routine immigration appointments. They have corralled asylum-seeking families overnight into basements while denying them food, water, and basic human dignity.
UNTIL PATRIARCHY FALLS: Our Statement on the 2024 U.S. Elections
NATIONAL—The U.S. has once again elected a fascist into power. This time, mobilizing agents of patriarchy to the polls to win the “popular vote.”We hold no illusions about elections; we know we cannot vote our way to liberation. This election cycle is yet another reminder that U.S. politics are designed to center U.S. imperialist interests, and relegate women of color and our communities to the margins. We in AF³IRM knew that regardless of the election results, we would be ready for a fight. We are preparing for emboldened sexism, misogyny, and racism.
Jane McAlevey, 1964–2024
With heavy hearts, AF3IRM mourns the loss and celebrates the life and legacy of Jane McAlevey.
NO MORE STOLEN SISTERS. NO MORE STOLEN RELATIVES. NO MORE GENOCIDE.
On this Day of Awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Relatives, during the global #Week4Palestine, we in AF³IRM Los Angeles grieve.
AF3IRM NY/NJ stands in unwavering solidarity with the Student Intifada
Make no mistake, the students are winning. CCNY and Columbia administration’s decisions to unleash the NYPD on their students, has dissolved the cloud of Democracy that exists in the American mind, and radicalized an entire generation to fight for Palestinian liberation. Democracy cannot exist in a nation invested in silencing its students. Democracy cannot exist in a nation invested in death.
From Whom the Future Originates
On International Women’s Day (IWD) 2024, AF³IRM calls on all women and people of conscience to do more than #InspireInclusion. The appropriate response in this pivotal moment in history is unprecedented action and an unwavering commitment to transnational feminism. Stand together for liberation. This year, IWD is especially solemn as the world’s eyes are on the culminating acts of genocide in Palestine. For over 150 days, the worst of nightmares and experiences have stormed their way into our conscience. Over 30,000 Palestinians have been martyred. We grieve for the tens of thousands more injured, those lost under the rubble of their communities, and those who have yet to be accounted for.
AF³IRM REJECTS COLONIAL FEMINISM’S RATIONALE FOR GENOCIDE
AF³IRM NYC stands firmly on the principle and practice of believing a victim’s account of sexual violence. When, however, the “evidence” comes from those who are part of a propaganda machinery that has sought consistently to portray its adversary as “subhuman terrorists” and “animals,” we must rage against the machine.
Palestinian, Black, Indigenous, and Socialist Feminists join AF³IRM to Demand a Free Palestine
Los Angeles—On Monday, November 20, 2023, AF³IRM convened feminist leaders transnationally from Honolulu, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and New York City to highlight why the ongoing genocide in Palestine is a pressing transnational feminist issue. The virtual event brought together a global audience.
End U.S. Loyalty and Funding for Genocide in Palestine
AF³IRM, a transnational feminist, anti-imperialist organization, denounces and condemns the continued escalation of U.S. support for the “Israel” entity in its war against Palestinians. As women, as descendants of families who have survived Israel and U.S.-backed dictatorships and interventions, we stand with the women and the people of Palestine.
UNTIL LIBERATION IS OUR GLOBAL REALITY
On March 8th, the 23rd year into this century, we once again celebrate Womankind’s long history of struggle for equity and equality in the human world. For those of us living and working and fighting in the territory of the United States, that means going beyond the annals of the settler feminist movement.
AF³IRM Sets the Record Straight: Debunking Disinformation and Historical Revisions
Knowing that public shaming, denunciation, and pillory have been standard tools of the patriarchal ruling class against women who defy dogmas and orthodoxies, AF³IRM issues this statement with great reluctance. But in this time of disinformation, deep fakes, and historical revisionism, we deem it necessary to stand firmly on the facts and nothing but.
