SF Bay Area | Purple Rose: A Dialogue on Sex Trafficking – for Women and Girls of Color

SAVE-THE-DATE: SUNDAY, JANUARY 24, 2016!

Join AF3IRM SF Bay Area for a Women’s Dialogue on sex trafficking from a transnational feminist, anti-imperialist perspective.

We will discuss the intersecting roots of sex trafficking across and despite borders, focusing on the particular experience of transnational im/migrant women/girls of color whom are overrepresented in the Trade, while connecting the topic to local issues of sexual & economic exploitation in Oakland, California.

AF3IRM National Organizing Director Ivy Quicho and AF3IRM National Communications Director Barbra Ramos will be speaking at the event, alongside SF/Bay Area members, highlighting our International Purple Rose Campaign, one of the oldest campaigns of its kind- 16 years and ongoing!

Participate in the conversation and learn how you can take action!
