AF3IRM is proud to host their National Summit and 25th Anniversary “Women on the Wave” on Saturday, October 11th through Sunday, October 12th in Los Angeles. The summit gathering will take place at the Social Justice Academy at the Miguel Contreras Learning Complex (322 S. Lucas Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90017).

AF3IRM aims to bring together women-identified individuals from all over North America and beyond to share our stories, to define our issues, and to co-create the future of the women’s movement. The two days are meant to be discourse and journey, in quest and celebration of women’s humanity, of the women’s paradigm and vision.  All attendees will be active participants and will be pushed to challenge and be challenged.

The “Women on the Wave” Solidarity Night will take place the evening of Saturday, October 11th, starting at 6:00PM at SEIU 721 Local Auditorium (1545 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017) All are invited to attend with a suggested donation of $10-$15. The night will feature performances by female emcees, musicians, and poets. There will be live art and an art exhibition.
