AF3IRM's radio debut was kicked off by the airing of our May Day episode on April 30th and focused on International Workers’ Day and the plight of transnational women workers. We had special guests AF3IRM Los Angeles Co-Coordinator Myra Duran and member Laureen Abustan speak about the economic war being waged on transnational women and a former labor trafficking victim, Jenny, shared her personal story with us. The first episode of “Red Feminist Radio” was hosted by AF3IRM National Chairperson Jollene Levid. Check it out here: http://radiosombra.org/red-feminist-radio-debut-43012/

It addressed how to be a mother, who is conscious, progressive, and militant – in other words, the revolutionary mother. Special guests included: Kelly Gray, a full spectrum doula; AF3IRM LA member & mama Faith Santilla; and San Francisco Bay Area chapter coordinator Katrina Socco. This special mamas day episode of "Red Feminist Radio" was hosted by AF3IRM National Chairperson Jollene Levid.
